In 1976 all of the rooms on the second floor were wallpapered, all of the woodwork painted. Over the years, the wallpaper has been removed and the woodwork in the bathroom and three of the bedrooms stripped and refinished. The oak floors in the hallway and bedrooms have been refinished and new flooring installed in the bathroom. The spandrel found in the attic was refitted into the front bedroom.
